Faraday, Michael à Ampère, André-Marie
M. Ampère, &c &c &c
Royal Institution,
6 Jany 1834 My dear Sir I take a moment to remind you of an old friend one very much your
debtor and who wishes to know how you are in health at this waiting period of the year. I
also introduce to you Mr. Smith and certain inventions of his in which I think you will take an
interest. My friend Mr Lewis speaks highly of Mr Smith's inventions but I have not seen enough
of them myself to form any opinion upon their final application. I am, My dear
Sir, Most Truly Yours, M. Faraday
